Be prepared
Remember what you usually tell you at interviews when applying for a job?
A young and rapidly growing company, interesting tasks, constant growth of salaries (for example, once every six months), an official car, an increase in position ..
Sometimes, the head goes around with overwhelming prospects. True, soon the harsh reality begins with a violation of all promises and this is all.
So what promises are not fulfilled by Russian employers most often?
Bonuses
Most often, employers do not pay you bonuses who promised at the stage of the interview. Most often, people who work in the sales department suffer from this, especially those who lead a lot of customers who are entitled to impressive bonuses.
As a rule, people are lured by bonuses in interviews, painting the rainbow prospects of rampant growth. But when it comes to business, often the bonuses are overgrown with additional, obviously impossible, conditions that have not previously been stipulated. For example, sell Santa Claus and Moscow Snow in Lapland.
At the same time, the employee is sitting on a scanty salary, hoping to get a bonus.
Prizes and material “buns”
It’s still easier here. Sometimes the authorities begin to seem that his subordinates earn too much, so it would be nice not to give them a bonus.
The bosses cannot cut you a salary (and thanks to that the legislation), but making a decision to cancel the bonus is always please. Moreover, the legislation allows the company’s management in this way.
Naturally, very often this option is used.
By the way, other “buns” that they generously promised at the interview can be attributed to bonuses. For example, free sweets \ fruits \ vegetables, insurance, service car, etc. D. All this can be simply canceled.
Is it possible to demand all this in court? If these items are stipulated in your employment contract and they are not executed, then you can try, but they are unlikely to eat there. The employer is usually in no hurry to “substitute” in this way.
Career growth
This is perhaps a favorite point regarding incontinent promises. As a rule, during an interview, the authorities promise applicants that they can almost sit in their place in a year.
True, this does not happen either after a year, nor in two or five. This is not always the evil intent of the employer, often the employees themselves “bark” tightly, but nevertheless. Career growth, despite promises, is not always provided.
