Using frescoes for interior decoration

There are currently several varieties of frescoes that have differences in the materials used, cost and application technique. Frescoes on canvas are the most common view. To make it use canvas from natural cotton, lime, sand, natural pigments and dyes. From which it follows that this fresco is extremely extraordinary and environmentally friendly material. Such frescoes are produced only by hand. That is, for starters, a special solution is prepared (plaster mixture). Further, the designer, like the artists of the Renaissance, applies the desired pattern to wet plaster. Then this image is artificially aged to give a fresco the desired age. The next step is the transfer of frescoes to the desired canvas. In order to glue such a fresco, you need to apply glue for vinyl wallpaper. Its surface should be treated with protective wax, due to the fact that it is very fragile and absolutely unstable to humidity and damage. Since the production of these frescoes is associated with manual work, it is logical that their cost is quite high (from about 30 thousand rubles).Glue -based frescoes are very convenient to use. To make such a fresco, it is necessary to apply a thin layer of pasta on a self -adhesive base, which is first mixed with sand to give the fresco the texture. After that, using photo printing on a dry surface, a print is applied. Thus, it turns out – in order to glue the fresco on the finished surface, you just need to remove the protective film. Prices for this type of fresco is significantly lower than for handmade frescoes. Frescoes based on non -woven are made in the same way as wallpaper. For this, the plaster mixture is applied to the non -woven base. Then, using a digital photo print, the pattern is transferred to the plaster layer. In order for cracks to appear over the entire surface, the fresco is treated with craquelure glue. Such frescoes are glued directly to the desired surface with glue, which is designed for non -woven wallpaper. And the last variety is the fresco on the plaster. This species most accurately reproduces the texture of this fresco. For its basis, take elastic plaster, which becomes more firm thanks to the use of a painting grid. With the help of photo printing, the image is tolerated. Next, the finished panel is attached with liquid nails. Depending on the size, the prices of such frescoes range around 6 thousand rubles.
