Alofi (Alofi) is the capital of Niue, although any sane person probably cannot imagine how a tiny village with a population of 650 people can be the capital of the state. Local residents believe that Alofi is more than a thousand years old, but since documentary evidence does not exist, scientists call a slightly smaller figure. The village is divided into 2 approximately equal parts: northern and southern.
Alofi is spread out in the midst of a picturesque bay, and local species compensate for all possible inconvenience associated with everyday life and living. The visibility of water reaches 50 meters, which makes a frantic delight of people engaged in diving and snorkeling.
A 10-minute drive from Alofi is the most famous divers plot called Limu Pools (Limu Pools). Its main advantages are bizarre reefs, unusual cliffs and the stunning diversity of the water world, and several more similar articles would take all its inhabitants. There are also numerous underwater caves, whose age is given out by huge stalactites and stalagmites. Some of them are completely hidden under water. There are so many grottoes that even natives cannot name the exact number of these caves.
