What is interesting in Israel?

Although Israel is relatively small, it has a lot of attractions and holy places that should be visited. The great shrines of Christianity, Islam and, of course, Judaism always attract the attention of tourists.

Few people will pass by the Jerusalem Wall Wall, on which you can leave your message to God. The old city is also worthy of attention – the historical center of Jerusalem. The path of sorrow – the road to Calvary – shares Muslim and Christian quarters. On the way to the cross, Christ stopped 14 times, and each of the stops is described in the Gospels. On the Calvary itself, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which is also called the Jerusalem Temple of the Ascension of Christ, is also built on the Holgof itself. At the foot of the oil (Eleonian) mountain, which is next to the old Jerusalem, there is a Gethsemane garden, also very popular among pilgrims and tourists.

The olives of this garden are so old that they witnessed how Jesus was praying here and was devoted here. Outside the old city, on Mount Zion is the tomb of David – a prophet revered by Jews, Muslims and Christians. Nearby is an impressive complex – the Benedictine monastery of the Assumption of the Mother of God
